WHAT DO WE FISH FOR?
Pursuing pelagic game fish is our favorite type of fishing. Swordfish, sailfish, wahoo, mahi-mahi, tuna, and king mackerel are our main targets. We also love to fill the cooler up for dinner, so the great snapper, cobia, and amberjack fishing off of Stuart, Florida provides lots of opportunities. We employ various tactics and techniques depending on the season, conditions, and what has been working well in the days leading up to your trip. We are in constant contact with others fishing offshore and we keep detailed daily records, as current and historical local knowledge is a requirement for consistent offshore fishing success in South Florida. What type of trips do you offer?
Florida Offshore Fishing Company offers 2 types of charter fishing trips.
We offer offshore charter trips targeting sailfish, wahoo, mahi-mahi, tuna, king mackerel, snapper, cobia, and/or other bottom fish, depending on the season and what fish have been biting. These trips are available in full day or half-day formats.
Florida Offshore Fishing Company also offers full day swordfish charters.
Where is the boat located?
We fish out of the Marriott Hutchinson Island Beach Resort and Marina located at 555 NE Ocean Blvd, Stuart, FL 34996. We are in Slip # 7. We are located just 2 miles from the St. Lucie inlet and convenient to downtown Stuart, Florida and the surrounding areas. Do I need a fishing license?
Nope! All required fishing licenses are provided by the Florida Offshore Fishing Company.
How many people can go on a trip?
The maximum number of passengers is 6. However, the boat fishes best with 1 – 4 anglers.
Can we keep the fish we catch?
Of course! Any fish that we can legally keep and you want to eat can be kept. We do encourage catch and release fishing when the box is filling up and we have enough meat for you to take home. We will clean and bag your catch once back at the dock, so please bring a cooler in your car to transport your fresh fish home. We are also part of the Gray Taxidermy team, be sure to ask us about having a custom fish mount made.
